Features of the New Multi-Channel Leslie 812, 814\
Manufacturing of the Leslie 812/814 has been discontinued.
The Model 812 Leslie is factory Calibrated for optimum performance with Hammond Organ models 906 and 926. The standard finish for this Leslie is medium oak.

The Model 814 Leslie is electrically identical to the Leslie 812, except it is factory calibrated for optimum performance with Hammond Organ models XB-3M, XC-3M, 935, 910, A-305 and XT/XH organs. This Leslie is available in either of two standard finishes, medium oak or red walnut.

The multi-channel Leslie 812, 814 is designed to fully enhance the "total sound" of multi-channel organs using digital sound-producing technology. Designed specifically for three-channel appilcations, the addition of two stationary channels to the rotary speaker system highlights the richness and texture of the entire organ.
In the Rotary Channel, the sond is "separated" with the highs, reproduced by a horn rotor and the lows, reproduced by a bass rotor. Both rotors can be operated in three positions: Fast (Tremolo), Slow (Choral/Celeste) or Off.
The Left and Right Stationary Channels are matched full-range channels, designed to enhance organs or sound modules with Left and Right or stereo output channels such as Hammond organ models XB-3M, XC-3M, 935, 910, A-305 and XT/XH organs.
The Stationary channels incorporate three separate amplifiers for total coverage of the musical spectrum. One powers the pedal and bass tones reproduced by a 12" woofer in a bass-reflex enclosure. The other two amplifiers drive mid-range and treble tones to two 6" X 9" extended-range speakers and two 1" dome tweeters, all located in the front of the cabinet.
Additional controls provided on the back of the cabinet to allow you to indepently adjust the volume and tone of all three channels to create your own custom "response curve". A custom "Y" adapter is available if a second cabinet is needed and therby provide true Left and Right stereo separation.

The Leslie 812, 814 has a Custom Molded ABS Horn now with a NEW long life Ball Bearing Assembly and Shock Mount. This upper horn never needs oiling!

The Leslie 812, 814 has a custom designed Ferro Fluid 100 watt RMS compression driver.

The Leslie 812, 814 has new Whisper Quiet A.C. Motors with Ball Bearings, isolation grommets between the motor mounting base and the adjustment plate which also contributes to quieter operation.
The Leslie 812, 814 now has manual tension adjustments with no tensioning springs which can stretch the belts and make motor operation noisier as well as create more wear on the motor, horn and rotor bearings.
These ultra-reliable single component motors never need replacement o-rings, oiling of their bearings or adjustment of the slow motor rim drive operation like the old style dual motor stacks.
